pv1000 2711-T10C10 dim display

I just got a pv1k and the display looks dimmer than other pv1k that I worked with. The pv1k is not too dimmed that it is not usable but I can tell that it is dim.

The brightness value in the config menu is set to 100. I checked the manual for some sort of hardware brightness adjustment but I didn't see anything. I even opened up the pv1k's case to see if there is an adjustment pot.

Does the back light of a pv1k slowly dim with age?

I would contace your local rep.

i bought one years ago with the same problem.
they replaced the unit for free. turns outh that something in the unit moved during shipping and caused the problem.

how dim was your display? Would you say that its %50 dimmer than the normal brightness?
