Testing Range of IP Addresses

Is there a program available to easily ping a range of IP addresses and report any devices not connected?

I have a control system consisting of several Modicon PLCs, HMIs, remote I/O devices, and Yaskawa VFDs all communicating through modbus TCP/IP.

There is also a beta release of a portable version of NMAP, called Zenmap

NMAP is probably best, but its defiantly not the easiest to use. I've used AngryIPScanner in the past for simple things.

I've been using Advanced IP Scanner for a few years now and it works good. And it's free.
