I have connected to my TI525 cpu, can see the program, but when I try to save PLC (aux function 60) I get the fault message: Function not avalible - load-only version.

Looking up the fault in the programming book: "The selected write function is not avalible because this mode of TISOFT is read-only......"

So I have a read only version of the software? Is there a way of not making it read only or do I need to find some new software?

It has been a very long time since I did any programming with the TiSoft program so I could easily be wrong about anything in this post.
Is the PLC in "Run" or Program" mode? I believe it needs to be in "Program" mode. You may have to select PGMOFF also.

What is your intention?

You say UPloading in the title. UPloading is READING from the PLC to the PC.

The fault description you reference says writing, which is DOWNloading.

If you are trying to read the program, and download, you will overwrite whatever is there. Define what you're wanting to do, please, so we can help point you in the right direction.

Putting it into Run mode wouldn't be surprising BUT....

....I went online and tried to toggle it from Run to Program: "Function not avalible - load-only version"
