rs-logix 500

I am trying to install rs-logix 500 on a second computer and it is asking for serial number and I don't have the serial number, but I have a computer with a working copy on it, can I get the serial number off of it and use it on the other computer? And if so where under rockwell would I find it?

You will need a second Activation.

Which Version of RSLogix500 are you installing?

Does the Activation on your first PC us a Master Disk or Factory Talk?

The FactoryTalk requires the exact S/N whereas the Master Disk EVRSI Activation is a little less fussy.

For the serial number - on the other computer fire up RSLogix 500 the do 'Help' - 'About'

As sthompson mentions, though, you may have activation issues.
