Install the jumper shown in the wiring diagram and you feed the 4 - 20 mA signal across a 250 ohm resistor to give you a 1 - 5 volt signal. The value in the %AI register will be between 3200 and 16000 instead of from 0 to 32000 as it would be for a 0 - 10 volt signal
