Could not set RSLinx Enterprise data server configuration

I'm in a facility where the operators are jacking up the 1500P's, so I want to restrict the accesses on the VersaView. On setup everything is perfect until I change the User profile to "Limited". Then when loading the .mer file I get the message "Could not set RSLinx Enterprise data server configuration".
I've hunted the net for a work around to correct but cannot find it.
All I can do to get it to work, is is change the User Profile to "Administrator" and I'm back to full access to the operators again.

Does anyone know the fix on this.

Do any of the solutions in the RA Knowledgebase Article ID 63223 look promising ? "Solution #2A" sounds like it will do what you want, allowing a limited user to still run FTView ME, which requires that user to perform a behind-the-scenes administrative task when setting up RSLinx Enterprise.
