Omron CQM1-CPU11: how to connect

Omron newb here. Have this unit in a machine. We would like to connect to it just to back up the program. Looks like i need special cable (CQM1-CIF02 or CPM1-CIF01 ?) and software. Have seen mentions of CX One. Will trial version do what i need?

Please let me know if i'm on the right track. All we need to do is back up. Least amount of $$$ spent is a plus.

Also, it seems a "relay" in the OC222 unit is bad. Most likely replacing the OC222 unit will fix that, or could be something in the CPU11?

What about software?

For CQM1 you can use Syswin, 3.4 is lastest version released 10 years ago.
Or, you can use CX-One ANY version (9.4 is actual).
