I have just picked up an Izumi Idec FA-2J PLC cheaply to learn more about PLC's. I am trying to find the best way to program it. I am on a very small budget and do not have a hand held programmer or the PLC to computer cable. Is there a cheap way to make up a cable or is the hand held programmer the best option, if so are these items still available.

If anyone can give me some advice on this it would be much appreciated
