i was looking at the accuracy chart of the attached model from Siemens MAG 5100, it says that accuracy best is between Q3 and Q4. When i look at the next page.... i really could not understand:
1st case:
starting Order code P11 till P16
for DN 150mm Q3 = 160m3/hr, Q4 = 200 m3/hr.
or for DN 150mm Q3 = 0.044m3/s and Q4 = 0.055m3/s
V4 = Q / A = 0.055 / 0.0176625 = 3.11 m/s
V3 = Q / A = 0.044 / 0.0176625 = 2.49 m/s
2nd case:
starting Order code P16
for DN 150mm Q3 = 400m3/hr, Q4 = 500 m3/hr.
V4 = Q / A = 0.111 / 0.0176625 = 6.28 m/s
V3 = Q / A = 0.1388 / 0.0176625 = 7.85 m/s
for other manufacturer i see that the velocity range should be between 1 m/s and 3m/s... for the first case, i can understand but the second is really different.
any thought on this?
