Hi;

Can anyone please explain me the difference between Siemens PLC CPU226 6ES7 216-2AD22-XB0 and CPU226 6ES7 216-2AD21-XB0?
 
Sorry, i mentioned the wrong type of first one. I want to know the difference between Siemens PLC CPU226 6ES7 216-2AD23-XB0 and CPU226 6ES7 216-2AD21-XB0.
 
My guess is that the 23 is just a newer version of the 21. More memory, faster processor, etc.

However, both are discontinued, so I wouldn't recommend using them. The S7-1200 line is the replacement.
