PLC IP config issue

Hi,

i am facing problem to connect to the PLC for changing its IP address. could anyone please suggest a solution to clear the issue

PLC Model - S7 315f-2 pn/dp
software - Simatic manager v5.5 sp3
Connection to PC - Direct Ethernet cable via profinet port in PLC
PG/PC interface - TCP/IP(auto)- broadcom netlink gigabit ethernet
PC IP address - didn't set anything

after doing the hardware connections i went to edit ethernet node and clicked browse for the accessible nodes. But i am not seeing my PLC MAC id in the list.

has anyone faced this issue before or can you guess where i am wrong? if so please suggest a solution.
