I have a project where I need to control 1 Emerson Commander SK drive with a Siemens S7-1214 CPU with Modbus (RS485). The CPU has an RS485 CB1241 communication board.

All the wiring is OK, and all seems to be Ok from the CPU side. The TX Led on the CB1241 card is blinking but the drive is always Ready and doesn´t start.
The baudrate, address etc. are also configured ok on both units.

My project is for 10 drives, but I'm testing with only 1.

Hope someone can help me.

I'm not familiar with those drives, but is there some drive software you can use to plug into the drive and see what the drive is receiving?

Can the PLC read any data back from the drive?
