OT sensors

I'm teaching a class of electrical apprentices.
Does anyone know of a concise book or website that describes all the various sensors?
All I can find is information that is fragmented...laser at this mfr....inductive at that one etc.
I used to have a very good little book from Keyence but it disappeared and I was not able to find anything on their web site.
Any help would be appreciated.

Fundamentals of Sensing training is pretty good. It's a little bit dated for the latest and greatest, but covers 95% of what 95% of people will see in the world.
