PLC display - not HMi???

Good Morning Guys,

I have seen some great stuff done with a 42" Monitor, raspberry pie type controllers and some java programming,

Is there a similar way of accomplishing this with a PLC?

Eseentially, just desiging a prgram to display the informatio being gathered? graphs, dials, pilot lights, etc?

AdvancedHMI will do what you want and run on a cheap $100 PC connected to a TV. It can also run on a Raspberry Pi and display data from the PLC. You can see it in this thread:

The picture shows it communicating with a Beckhoff PLC, but it will work just as well with AB PLCs.
