Hey guys

When I shut down the power for the cabinet and starts up again, the maintained pushbuttons changes state to '0', but in the PLC program the state for the bit is '1'. How do I change that, so the state for the pushbutton doesnt change?

I use CCW for the HMI.

Can you give us your PLC, communication Protocol details? I have just checked that maintained pushbutton. It is working fine in my setup. I checked in CompactLogix Controller with PV800 T10T.

how does your setup look like with the maintained push button?
Indicator tag? Write tag?

I found out the fault. The switch was assigned as a 16 bit integer, so when you put the indicator tag as the same as write tag, you would get an error on the buttons stage.
Change it to Boolean, and that fixed the problem.
