Schneider Electric PLC M221 - Expansion module for serial port (RS485)

I am using a M221 PLC (TM221CE24R) which provides me 1 Rs485 port, which I am already using to communicate with a sensor (Rs485/Modbus). My problem is I have another sensor which has a different baudrate (and both of them have fixed baudrates, I cannot changed it). I understand that at this point I need an extra Rs485 port. I am not able to find any suitable expansion module.

Which expansion module do you guys recommend? If any?


observation: I am already using the slot for cartridge.

Change your cartbridge card to TM3 IO card and add RS232/485 cartbridge.



Or change CPU to TM221C24 model which has 2 serial ports (and one Cartbridge slot for IO or serial)


Or add TCP gateway to TCP serial converter.

(Select TCP to Modbus serial converter instead of TCP to TCP over serial converter model)
