How can i connect Siemens PLC with modbus protocol?

Dear guys,

I have a software that sends data to PLC using modbus.

I want to connect my software with siemens plc, how can i do that?

RTU, TCP ASCII ? there are function blocks for some i.e. MB_Client MB_Server

I don't know what is the model, every customer has different model from the another

I want to know the process in general, is it possible? and do i have to buy additional module or they are all the same?

Do you mean you have an ET200SP mounted S7-1510 or 1512, or is this just an ET200 remote IO with a separate PLC?

If it's the first one, yes this should allow you to communicate via Modbus TCP over the onboard ethernet port. You can do this with all S7-1200 and S7-1500 CPU's as far as I know.

This is the module, I can't uninstall it to see the module number in the other side
