Siemenes Analog Input card SM 331 failure frequentely

Hi All,
I am facing one problem for siemens SM331 AI card . i am connect PT 100 as input for channel 0 & 1 . but this card failes with in week or 10 days reguraly. after failure of card nothing found abnormal in circuit. please any one can help me on this issue . thanks in advance.

what kind of failure are you talking about?

thanks for reply card failure means it does not shows temp. related to this card on HMI . and if this card replace with new card its work properly.

what kind of enviroment is it in?
Some gases can increase the corrosion which could lead to failure. Also voltage spikes can fry the card.

thanks for reply.
but we give PT 100 means resistance as input to card .still there is any possbileties of short ckt. or Voltage spike ?

check your actual measurement range in your system and electrical connections and wirings of PT 100 and the input card
