Hi,
I am trying to scale analog values in a system with a S7-300 PLC and TI 505 remote IO. The remote IO uses a CTI Remote Base Controller connected via profibus.

The TI 505-7016 analog input card uses WX values from 0 to 32000. Step 7 has an analog range from 0 to 27648. Do I have to rescale 32000 = 27648?

0-32000 is the range for 0-20mA. You should be able to use simple math to covert the raw counts to an engineering unit. If the device is 4-20mA then the counts will be 6400-32000.
I will assume it's 4-20, and the scaled value is 0-100%, here's an example for scaling:

EU= (WY-6400) / 25600) * 100
