I cannot find anything anything in the manual for a load resistor, does this PLC not have any built in? Is it a dipswitch setting?

Load Resistors on a Micrologix 1100 & 1746-IF4?

ML1100 expansion module or embedded analog input?

If expansion module, is it a 1762-IF4? If so see specs below

voltage 200K ohms
current 275 ohms

Embedded analog on a ML1100 is voltage only at 210K ohms

There is a dip switch on the 1762-IF4 to select the type of input current/voltage.

That why 0-10V voltage instead of 4-20mA current is bad for an analog signal.

Always go for 4-20mA.
