Hi !

I am new to Siemens S7300 (313C CPU) PLC and I cannot find the documentation related to analog inputs connecting diagrams.

I have a couple of active flow transmitters (4-20 mA) 120Vac powered, which I would like to connect to the PLC AIs, I have connected passive transmitters before to the same inputs (following the diagram on the module cap), but I am afraid that it might not be the same connection type for active 4-20mA transmitters (no 24 Vdc powers the 4-20mA loop).

If anyone does have connecting diagrams available or any web link, please help. I appreciate it.

In the above example (for channel 2) you would have to connect the 4-20mA signal on pin 9.
If you use channel 0, you will have to connect the 4-20mA signal on pin 3.
Connect ground to pins 4-7-10-13-20. The ground must be looped back to the device that generates the 4-20 mA signal.
