1770 KFD don't accept 125 Kb/s configuration

Hello,

Please, I need help, I have a 1747 SDN which set at 125 Kb/s Baud rate. I want to configure also the 1770 KFD et 125 Kb/s but, the 1770 KFD driver doesn't accept 125 kb/s in RSLinx, it only accept 500 Kb/s.

But, the problem is that with a baud rate of 500Kb/s, the 1770 KFD doesn't recognize the 1747 SDN in the pannel of RSLinx because the don't have the same baud rate. How can I do? I cannot change the baud rate of the 1747 SDN because, it is a default configuration. and before changing the default configuration in RSNetworx, the 1770 KFD must first recognize the 1747 SDN in RSLinx.

Do you think it is a problem of the version of RSLinx witch is not complete? I use RSLinx lite free version 2.57.00.

Or do you think that there is a pilote of 1770 KFD witch is not installed in my PC?

Looking at the 1770 KFD Driver in RSLinx Classic Gateway version 2.57, the Data Rate for the Serial Port Setup is still only 57600 maximum, but in the same driver, the DeviceNet Port Setup has a choice for Data Rate of 125K, 250K, or 500K. It seems that you will have to use DeviceNet to communicate at 125K.

You did try deleting the driver and re-inserting the driver in RSLinx Classic, didn't you ?

Now that I think about it, once you've set the DeviceNet data rate for the driver, you might not be able to change it without deleting the driver.

Maybe a reboot and flush of the Harmony.RSH and Harmony.HRC files in between would help too.

Spot on Ken, you only get one chance to set the baud rate. To change it, you delete the driver and redo it.
