Have you chosen a specific Rockwell Automation HMI product, like FactoryTalk View ME (PanelView Plus) or FactoryTalk View SE, or are you using one of the older platforms like RSView32 or PanelBuilder32 ?
Start with the user manuals, and the "Getting Results" manuals.
All of those are available for download from the Rockwell Automation literature webserver, or Google for "FactoryTalk View ME Getting Results".
