Block Transfer Read (BTR) and Block Transfer Write (BTW) are used to send blocks of data to modules, particularly Analog and Specialty modules, on A-B Remote I/O (RIO) networks.
Block transfers are also used in PLC-2, PLC-3, and SLC-5/0x controllers.
