I installed my first Guardmaster one week ago. The customer called today and said that it defaulted a few times already.
It is turning full red at random time and you need to power it off to erase the fault, meaning it's a non recoverable fault. Apparently it does not happen for a day or two, and sometimes it does.
According to the documentation a non recoverable fault can be :
Transient EMC disturbance causing asynchrony of the two CPU
Environmental disturbances of high voltage or high current spikes that
cause internal damage of components
Power supply interruptions that are detected by internal voltage level
monitor
Transient overload conditions of safety outputs that trigger short circuit
and overload protection or the output (for example, high inrush currents)
I already had an overload of one of the output when I commissioned and now there are only single, small and low consumption relays behind the outputs.
I can look the registered faults only tomorrow but I want to ask if anyone had problems or issues with these products?
