Communcation excel and Step 7

Hello,

I want to read data in real time (if it were a scada) of a siemens automata with excel without using any external program.

I searched online, but find nothing. I only managed to read in excel, but not in real time, using Libnodave.

I hope your help.

I do not think this is possible without using either OPC or programs like Libnodave.

You can receive upd or tcp/ip telegrams from a Siemens PLC using the good old mswinsock in Excel.

is it possible to integrate the OPC into the Excel?
i mean like an Add-In other something like that?
