CompactLogix Adding IO Nodes While Online

Hello, everyone! Can someone confirm which CompactLogix models support adding IO online or point me to a document for CompactLogix's that list out this feature and others?

I'm using Studio V31 and it lets me add IO online with 5380's but on a 5370 I cannot. I'm not sure if there is something I need to do to open up this feature or if it's a limitation with 5370's. The 5370 manual doesn't seem to say anything about it.

Examples:
5069-L320ERS2 - lets me add IO online
1769-L38ERM - does not let me add IO online
