Hi everyone

Does anybody know if it's possible to connect a termopar to an analog input directly? being more specific Siemens S7-200 analog input

I'm wondering if I could connect it to the analog input as voltage directly, but I'm not sure if I could do it without a transmitter/amplifier (array or module)?

If I could do it without a transmitter I could save up some money cause it's for a school project.

Best regards 🍻

What is a Termopar?
If it is a thermocouple, or RTD sensor, you will generally need a specific analog module to handle the signal.

yes it is a thermocouple, so there's no way to connect it directly without an amplifier/transmitter?, that's a shame :confused:o_O
