Hi everyone,
I'm actually running a project with a Ge's PLC RX3i, i built the program with PME Proficy Machine Edition and the HMI with Cimplicity. I'm having in the architecture a QuickPanelView+ communicating with the RX3i CPU (Ethernet), it will show the same HMI built with Cimplicity.
My question is : Is it possible to convert the screens already built with Cimplicity to use them for building the HMI of QuickPanlView+ ?
I'm asking this question in order to avoid building the same HMI twice.

Why do you not use a Cimplicity Viewer instead of the QP+ if that HMI must be the same?
As the QP+ has a Windows 7 embedded OS, ask GE if you can use it as a Complicity Viewer? http://support.ge-ip.com/support/index?page=spage&id=ST6&locale=en-US&locale=en_US

From a technical stand point it can be done one just need the proper files and network permissions. But then they will always be identical.

Another option would have been to use Proficy View PC, which can be put into a QP+ or a PC (this is how the QP+ Simulation works), instead of the Cimplicity HMI SCADA. Of course then you do not have the SCADA tools.

One should do this homework up front before purchasing anything.
