Delta TP70P HMI and DVP PLC communication

Hello,
I'm facing a problem in communication between my delta TP70P-32TP1R HMI and DVP20EX2 PLC. I tried multiple ways in order to set the communication protocol between the two components but it didn't work. i tried Com2 and Com3 of the HMI and Com1 (RS232), Com2 and Com3 of the PLC, and all the possible combination. i also verified the connection cable between the HMI and PLC and it's good. i even contacted Delta because the instructions in the manuel are not clear! if anyone had a similar problem and could help me out that would be great.
Note: for the communication it doesn't matter for me if the HMI is only a text pannel or if i established a master/slave communication between the DVP PLC and the internal PLC of the HMI.

I'm currently facing issues with communication between the HMI Delta (DOP-B07E515) and the PLC IDEC (FC6A-D16R1CEE), utilizing both RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces.

Specifically, for RS-485, I'm receiving an HMI warning: "COM2 Station 1: Communicate error 3." On the other hand, with RS-232C, the HMI is indicating: "COM2 Station 1: Communicate error 2."

However, it's worth noting that I can successfully establish communication between the HMI Delta (DOP-B07E515) and a Siemens PLC (S7-1200) via Ethernet.

Is the number of the PLC station (HMI side) equal to the slave number (PLC side)?
