There are two main differences.
1. QuickPanel has a graphic interface with touch screen.
DataPanel is 'usually' text only diplay, with Function keys, no touch screen.
2. QuickPanel is programmed with Proficy ME View Developer
Datapanels either need no development software, for the most basic unit or are programmed with WinConfig.
Some of the older style QuicPanels can also be programmed with QuickDesigner software.
