DTAM uploading and downloading

Am I able to upload a live AB DTAM Plus HMI's existing configuration without taking it out of service? I have two comm ports and would be using the printer port to do so. If this is possible, I would like to capture this data, update as needed then drop it back in.
Tips, ideas and direction? thanks

You cannot operate the DTAM Plus keypad while in the upload/download mode.
