Elau MAX-4 beeping

Hey Guys,

I have received an Elau MAX-4 motion controller, and it beeps
When I try to connect via serial 232 and/or ethernet in EPAS-4 v24, I get nothing.
The ''power'' and ''bus err'' LEDS are constantley burning, right after power up.

Is it missing its Firmware?

Any help would be appreciated!

"BUS ERR" - ON
bus error (fiber-optic connection problem, e.g. send power too low or too high, broken cable,...)

Start with Chapter 4 Diagnosis of the above manual. Run a minimal boot.

Okay thanks for the reply,

It does not explane why I can't connect with the motion controller?
The beeb continues for hours, while a good module just beebs 3 or 4 times.

In the manual they talk about the LED status, however no audio signal status.
