ET200S + Profibus DP Example

Hi!

I have next configuration

CPU 314 + CP 342-5 connected via profibus cable to ET200S with 2 AI.

Is there any good and simple example how to communicate and how to read 2 AI forom ET via profibus?

If i'm not wrong You assign your 2 AI PIW addresses via HW-Config. You just read value from those assigned addreses and process it as any other inputs.

No, that is wrong.

With the CP342-5 you need to exchange the i/o image via the standard blocks DP_SEND and DP_RECV.
