Ethernet/IP Thermocouple Input Modules

Well, Allen Bradley has delayed delivery of 1769-IT6 modules by another 5 months so it's time to find some alternatives.

Does anyone have any experience with other thermocouple input modules that worked well with Allen Bradley PLCs? We've used Acromag before but their delivery isn't much better than AB. Suggestions?

What about the 5094-IY8 FLEX 5000 8 Channel Voltage/Current/RTD/Thermocouple Analog Input

or Flex I/O 1794-IRT8 Thermocouple or RTD, 8 Channels Input

You will need also need the communication module like 5094-AENTR or the 1794-AENTR

We're using Compactlogix L3x processors so the Flex 5000 isn't an option.

1794 Flex I/O could work but it's really expensive between the module and adapter, takes up a lot of space, and we've had noise issues with them in the past. I'm guessing they are difficult/impossible to get anytime soon.

Thanks, I wasn't familiar with those. Looked encouraging until I got to the t/c accuracy.

I've never used the t/c modules, but I've used a stack of the E1212, 1240, 1241, 1200, etc, and they are very reliable. Not sure what it's like over there but I can get them delivered within 2 days here.

We've had some of those on order for months. They are supposed to ship in January, but I'm not holding my breath.
