Hello Everyone,

Happy 4th of July to my neighbors!

Is there a way to edit Alarms in Excel?

The native export is XML, and there is always Notepad ++, would be nice to edit in excel vs notepad ++.

Thanks and kind regards - Paul

Hey Paul,

When I head to the "Messages" tab of the [Alarm Setup] area, I'm able to copy the full list and drop directly into an excel worksheet.

From there I can search/edit etc., but I'm not able to paste the full list back into the Messages area.

I'm curious as well if anyone else has an elegant way to edit this list....

Mike

I think I was over-complicating things.

I just insert the number of rows that I need, and I can copy and paste in and out of Excel and back into FT View ME Studio.

It would be really nice if there was a CSV import/export for ME...ahem.

Thanks for the reply Mike.

You should be able to paste back in to ME in sections, I was using ctrl-V and it was going back in in groups of > 100 rows.
