Hello gentlemen,

This was supposed to be a question about the quality of Fargo servo drives but not anymore.

Why do I have to register on their website to download a catalog? if they don't want to beg me to read their catalog, well I don't want to read it or know anything about their drives.

Why was I so stupid as to register to download their catalog, that I have no answer to.

Why did I have to register if the link to the catalog lead to another search page that kept loading and reloading and never produced any results.

And why do they have a contact form if it also produces an error.

Why does this happens so often, weintek, rockwell, emerson, and so many others. They were not as crappy as Fagor but nevertheless it took way too long to access their information and I will ever ever forget that weintek's registration would not accept a less than very strong password only to email it to me un-encrypted (obviously).

Where do they people come from and why are there so many of them???????????????????????????????????????????????????

Alright you can delete this thread anytime you want. :D

This just blew my mind... I'm from Southern Europe and here Fagor is associated with crappy kitchen appliances and one of the first brand to bring to market the non-stick pans.
I could never have imagined they would have an automation branch... and I sure as hell wouldn't trust them too much either.

I guess they are not living up to their "Fagor es fantastico" motto... LOL

Didn't Fagor go out of business? It is a division of a co-op named Mondragon based in Spain.

So how do I know this?

There is a Marxist professor named Richard Wolff that thinks Mondragon and co-ops are the cure for income inequality and capitalism. I have researched Wolff's pet company, Mondragon. Co-ops are OK for production of common place goods but it takes someone with real intuition and creative capability to make good products. I don't see how a co-op can keep a person like that around. Making a good product requires passion and competitive attitude to compete with the best in the world.

I basically troll all Wolff YouTube videos because he is clueless and shouldn't be polluting the minds of students with his garbage.

I am a libertarian/capitalist to the core. I love debating libtards, Marxist and economists with PhDs that have no real business experience in the real world.

BTW, Delta Computer Systems is small but 41% of our business is export. We compete against the best in the world. I don't see how a co-op can attract people with such a competitive spirit.

I've actually ran into some tube mill equipment from Fagor that wasn't that bad. Not top of the line, just not bad. I've met some good people from Fagor as well.

Unfortunately, as it stands now, much of Europe is Neo-Marxist. I'm a proud Libertarian, but that doesn't change the fact that I've worked with a lot of great people from socialist countries. By all means, attack the professors whenever you want, but let's not tar all the citizens with the same brush.
