Hi all!

I'm searching a free software application to edit ladder diagrams and save them in 'ascii format'

Something like this:

|---[ ]---[\]---------( )---|

Does anyone know if there is a free software application to do it?

Thanks in advance

As far as I remember, in AB 6200 software and AB APS software, you could print as ASCII to a .txt file.
The result would be Ladder code in ASCII representation just as you describe.
I doubt that any current programming software can do that.

GE's Logicmaster supports the ascii print. Machine Edition supports the conversion from ladder to mnemonic by copy from the programming software and paste to Word etc.
