What is the future in terms of robotic systems and plc - robot communication ?

Larger Memory capacities with PLCs
More bundling of HMI and PLC programing software so it can be ridiculously expensive
More robotics with less guarding required

Less costly robotics. Robotics are going to make a surge in the next 10-20 years due to a sizable decrease in cost and difficulty to program.
