ge fenuc and vb6

does anybody have an example of how to connect to a 90-30
ge fenuc plc with the SNP-X protcol through visual basic?
i have seen something on this site but i cant seem to find it now.

no, although if he had a driver for ge fenuc 90 30 i would use that as it looks very nice. im looking for something to help me connect to a 90-30 plc and there was a piece of code floating around on this forum but i cant remember what its called or who has it on this site.

Presumably you're looking for an app called GEFCOMMVB. It was available on GE's website several years ago and got removed at some point. I don't know whether they ever restored it.

I can probably find it on one of my older computers. It's a VB6 app, not VB.net, so if you want to modify the source code to customize it for your situation you will need the appropriate tools. Can VB.net developer import a VB6 project? Contact me with your email address via this site's private messaging and I'll send you the project if I can find it.
