How to send SMS using GSM + micrologix PLC

Hello Experts....

Could anyone guide me that in one application I have to send SMS data using GSM module & Micrologix PLC. By reading some threads I came to know it uses RS232 communication & ASCII data.

Can I use normal USB Dongle & get data through SCADA ot Rslinks...& interfce it to send SMS..?

If not...then,
could any one suggest which GSM module should I buy & Which Micrologix PLC model I should use......Also How to Start this task beacuse I am new to Programming....Please guide me.
