I need to Translate a Siemens S7 project into Delta PLC. I am responsible for Electrical so I will not care about software.

Delta does have PLCs equivalent to S7-300 or S7-1212. I am happy with my selections. DVP12SE is more than enough. It is not a fast project and I will need Ethernet. Do you have better suggestions?

I can change PROFIBUS WITH Modbus.

But What should I do for remote IOs? (eg ET200M/S) What I see is cheap PLCs like DVP12SA to be controlled through Modbus as slaves. I know they are cheap but do I have extra options that I am missing?

Sorry for my inconvenience I am not experienced enough with Delta.
