Any advice on below issue?
➢ IFix 5.0 with USB Hardware Dongle License Standalone application connected to RX3i PLC units via Ethernet (bridged to Host)- GES OPC Server
➢ Running on Windows XP SP3 Virtual machine with VMware Workstation 15 Player on Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit Host with 16GB RAM. 4GB RAM allocated to Windows XP Host in VMWare Setting
➢ After around 8 days of operation, couple of errors popups( Error1. From Workspace application "Error Number -2147212767 (80042221) User not registered within security" see screenshot attached Error 2. From Historical Collect "Can't open data file- File access conflict" also some times Error 2B. From Historical Collect "Error making file as closed. File may be corrupt") …..all users seems to be automatically logged out on this error, Operator unable to switch screen or login
➢ Only option was to shutdown/ restart Windows XP guest OS from VMware because Ifix security allows only admin to shut down Ifix application.
➢ After this incident repeated 3-4 times we started monitoring Windows XP memory usage from task manager everyday morning& evening.
➢ Its noted that PF usage keeps growing every day a from approx 400MB to 800+ MB in 8 days and then crashes. PF usage: why it keep growing? only Ifix is running on the machine. Any advise whether this got any direct relation to this crash or its exclusively related to Ifix application?
