Hey Gentlemen. It seems that 2 to 3 months after we have line upgrades to this type of system that we start getting E19 errors on our Kinetix 6000 Drives. Each time we have had to change the servo motors out. Understanding that "Kinetix drives have no Torque overload fault although you can set a torque limit. The drive will drive up to the torque limit and hold there if there is no position command to trip the position error (actual vs. commanded)" Could it be because they Do not have enough position error code in the PLC, so because of that the Drive continues to Drive? Have anybody continued to get this same error? Thanks.

Anybody??
What are you asking here? Anybody had same problem? or anybody had same experience but fixed?

When our system came with Kinetix 6000, we had multiple occasions with E19 and E24 faults. Later we found, RA(Rockwell Automation) had tech notes regarding E19 occurrences.
RA responded to us that there were series of Kinetix 6000 drives, have system board without the coating on it, making false short circuits time to time.
So we've contacted RA directly and they have replaced with coated system board modules and now we hardly ever see the E19 other than the actual mechanical binding at motor and gear box.
Hope this helped in some ways.

Here is the list of PLC fault you can use within Logix5000.
.PhysicalAxisFault//.PositionCamStatus//.GearingLockStatus//.PositionError//..PositionIntegratorError//
.TorqueOffset//.TorqueFeedback//.PosDynamicTorqueLimit//.NegDynamicTorqueLimit//
.LowVelocityThresholdStatus//.DriveFault//

Can you explain more?

Can you show us a trend?

For there to be a torque reference there must be a) a position error OR have a static load eg gravity

kindly, how did you solve this problem? thank you

Yes. We installed Proximity limits and wrote into the logix5000 project to shut the Servo drive down on high and low limits. We found that Most of the time it was the high limit that would shut the system down because of dancer bars dropping out or being out of limits.
