Loadcell for measuring shaft torque

In a new application I should need loadcells for measuring torque shaft. I have once heard about loadcells on shafts of pumps. The signal was sent to a receiver wireless of course. It might even be in this forum, but I cannot retrieve it.
Another question, we need to measure that torque quite precise. Could we use the torque indicated in the drive if we use servodrives?

How about having the motor mounted on a plate that is hinged on one side and on springs on the other. Not as crude as that but hopefully is puts a picture in your head, use a deflecton type load cell, you know the spring rate, from their you should be able to work it out. I got no clue how to do it properly, haven't been round long enough for that, just thought i'd share an idea.

Does this have the same enviormental restrictions (150°C) as the motor in your other thread?
