Unfortunately, I have a MicroLogix 1400 Series A. ...

Does the 1400 Series A-to-B upgrade involve firmware functionality only, like it does for 1100s? Or is it firmware + hardware?

With Series A, post #15 is your answer, just need to do loop.

MicroLogix 1400 Series A is a bit of an orphan; it stops being supported at FRN 7, and you cannot upgrade to Series B functionality with firmware.

The fact that you have to run a little loop makes executing the INT-array-to-string logic even more appropriate for a single routine when the Transaction Sequence Number increments in the data being transmitted by the CompactLogix.
