I'm a CO-OP student who is new to PLC's so this may be a stupid question, but I haven't been able to find the answer and this is bugging me.

I plan on using the Micrologix 1100 1763-L16AWA controller for a project I'm working on. According to the manual I have 10 inputs. In RSlogix500 I manually changed the processor to Micrologix 1100 Series A by going into controller properties. Now when I look at the I1- Input data file I am expecting to see I:0/0-I:0/9 for my inputs. What I actually see is I:0/0-I:0/63. Does anyone know why I have all the extra inputs?

Thanks,

Cam
