I currently use a Jog Continuous at 5000hz successfully. My application requires a two speed blended jog now. I need to start the jog at a frequency of 2000Hz, then on the fly increase it to 8000Hz. I have tried moving (MOV) a second Hz value into PTO:0.JF but the second speed will not take effect until I stop issuing the Jog Continuous JC signal and then re-issue.

Thank you for your comments.

MicroLogix 1400 Stepper

Hello

In the first post motion is in the form of a Jog at 5000hz. A blended is a series of relative Moves. Try using the Copy File for each blend.

But keep in mind that the next move cannot have the same speed and there has to be sufficient number of steps to reach the speed, accel & decal rate.

Hope This Helps
Tom
