Micrologix 1400 - Rockwell's first real contender in the brick world.

We just used one of the L23's on a recent project. Yes it is limited to 2 I/O modules. The ethernet I/P is also limited to 8 drops. However, it was exactly what we needed for our small system and allows compatibility with the other logix. The pricing is decent. Also, AB's point I/O is not bad. It allows the user to remove the I/O electronics from the base and also allows separation of the field wiring terminals from the base. Not very well documented tho.

Also, our rep had a 1400 that they demoed for us at our last visit. I guess that would make it real.
