Hello, I have a project at work that requires me to communicate to a micrologix 1400 via modbus to a sureservo sva-2100. The connection will be modbus rtu via a serial port on the micrologix. I have had zero experience setting this up. Can someone give me a few steps to start this out? I am required to get speed readings from motors and then be able to change speed on the fly via modbus.. I know I need to set up the modbus on channel 0, and also set up a MSG in RSLogix but from there I do not know what to do.. I am not exactly sure how to set up the MSG function with this. Any help is appreciated.
